The drinks were very reasonably priced and Diane the bartender was so sweet and all my family complimented her mixed drink making skills! The food was awesome! Let me tell you, if you're looking for great catering and a wonderful person to work with, look no further than Christine (Taylor'd Creations). She could not have done more for us! She went above and beyond in every way to make this day as special as we wanted it. And served up delicious food at that (whole family was very impressed). We have used American Legion many times in the past. And it's always been great. But these ladies really made this day one of the best. Highly recommend! Please look up Christine for your future catering needs. You won't be sorry!!

We always enjoy visiting the Post 1080. Everyone there is so friendly and nice. We enjoy the great service by the bartenders and staff. When they had food we would go there often for their great food. Can not wait until they have food again. The banquet room is so nice we have our association Christmas part there. You could have any type of celebration there.

Are you open on holidays?

Yes, we are open 365 days a year, ensuring availability whenever you need us. Our hours are Monday-Thursday 11am-1am; Friday & Saturday 11am-2am; Sunday 11am-12am

Do you provide Veteran Support Services?

Yes, we offer Veteran Support Services. We have a veteran service officer from the Illinois Department of Veteran Affairs here every Tuesday from 9am-4pm to assist veterans with benefit eligibility and questions. Please call or email us for more detailed information.

What types of events can you host?

We host a variety of events, including banquets, holiday celebrations, funeral luncheons, birthday and retirement parties, weddings, small gatherings, car shows, and more.

Do You Accept Credit Cards for Banquet Rentals?

Yes, we do accept credit cards for all our banquet rental services, ensuring a convenient transaction experience for our customers.

What is your Hall Rental Information?

-5 hour event
-We provide tables and chairs (no table coverings)
-Large Hall (accommodates up to 140 people) is $600 plus a $200 deposit
-Medium Hall (accommodates up to 80 people) is $400 plus a $100 deposit
-Small Hall (accommodates up to 60 people) is $200 plus a $50 deposit
*Your deposit is refundable 2 days after your event if there is no damage...please call to request your deposit.
-A $100 bartender fee is required for bar service when renting the medium or large hall.
-Food must be from a licensed and insured caterer or restaurant.
-All soft drinks, juice, and alcohol must be purchased from us. Only outside drinks allowed in is coffee and bottled water.-

Do you have gaming at American Legion Post 1080?

Yes, we have 6 slot machines and a pull tab machine.

What kinds of events do you hold at American Legion Post 1080?

Every year we have an annual family picnic for our members here. We also have Trunk-or-Treat, a Christmas party, an Easter party, a Veteran's Day ceremony, food for noon Chicago Bears football games, and we are exploring other events and live music open to the public. Are children allowed at American Legion Post 1080?

Yes, children are welcome with the supervision of an adult in the bar until 8pm. They may not sit at the bar or be in the gaming area, but may sit at the tables.

Do you have outdoor seating at the American Legion Post 1080?

Yes, we have a back patio area that you are welcome to bring your drinks outside to enjoy.

Do you have food at American Legion Post 1080?

Currently we do not have food available. Frozen pizzas and snacks are available for purchase. Our kitchen is available for lease, so feel free to contact us for details if you are interested in leasing the kitchen.
